How to recognize a brain tumor?

Often, people turn to doctors when the symptoms of cancer become almost obvious. However, this happens in the last stages of tumor development and, in most cases, medicine is powerless in such situations.

If you are attentive to your health and take any symptom seriously, then cancer will suddenly not take you by surprise. In the first stages of brain tumor development, various treatment methods are used, as a result of which the majority of those who come to the clinic make a full recovery.

The occurrence and development of cancer

To date, there is no exact reason why cancer appears. There are several assumptions about what can cause cancer. This:

• bad ecology;
• location at the genetic level;
• excessive exposure to radiation.

Brain tumors are more likely to develop in people between the ages of 50 and 80, according to research. School-age children are also at risk.

Symptoms

What symptoms should appear for this to be a sufficient reason to visit a doctor?
First of all, these are frequent headaches, which tend to get worse over time. Many people suffer from such headaches, but attribute it to weather sensitivity, the consequences of fatigue, and so on. Taking various painkillers seems like a way out, but often such medications only make the situation worse.

Next, an equally serious symptom after a headache is vomiting. In a normal situation, vomiting is associated with food intake, but in the presence of cancer, vomiting is observed constantly, is not associated with food consumption and can often begin in the morning.

Sudden weight loss is also reported as a possible symptom of cancer. If a person continues to eat the same as before, but still loses weight, this is a serious reason to consult a doctor.

Memory loss is also a serious symptom. At first, a person may forget some events, recent conversations, dates. As the cancer progresses, forgetfulness begins to include the names of loved ones, one's own name and age. Along with memory, mental disorders, convulsions and epileptic attacks may occur.

Dizziness is characteristic of the later stages of tumor development, but sometimes it also appears in the first stages. A person begins to feel a feeling of rotation; it seems to him that the environment and his own body are rotating around him.

Thus, the most common symptoms indicating the development of cancer are:

1. headache
2. dizziness;
3. sudden weight loss;
4. epilepsy attacks;
5. vomiting;
6. memory loss;
7. mental disorders.
